Publisher's Description
A prison doctor injects a condemned serial killer with a formula designed to keep his consciousness awake while his body rots in the grave. But all drugs have unforeseen side-effects. Why Jessica want to read this: It's a zombie novel. Do I really need to explain more?

Neri - Oooh...first zombie book. Hmmm....so hard, so hard. My favorite YA Zombie book is Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel. It comes out in October. And while not "technically" zombies I still think it counts - The Strain Trilogy by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan - books 1 and 2 are out, 3 is coming soon. It's a vampire book, but the infected are basically zombies instead of vampires. So creepy it gave me the heebie jeebies. Dearly, Departed is a much lighter read than Strain though.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Jonathan Maberry, I've started reading zombie novels. I am a huge fan of his ya novel Rot and Ruin, and have Dust and Decay on the shelf ready for me to start reading. I may have to add this one to the list too!
ReplyDeleteTalk about creepy :) I think I'd be too wimpy to read this one. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI've never read a zombie book, if you can believe! Love the sound of this one though. Great pick!
