. This is from Karen Mahoney's short story "The Spirit Jar".I roll my eyes at him, crack my knuckles and stride into the darkness. I'm tired of sneaking around. There's an Afarit inside that's long past due for an ass-kicking, and I'm damn well going to be the one who delivers it.
